There are several security options that control access and functionality of Pulse. Make sure to review this topic and all the security options available before assigning options to your users or groups.

Go to Tools > System Maintenance. On the Tables tab, select User Security, and then click Open.
-
Select a User or Group from the list, and then click Security.
-
In the category list on the left, click EPASS Pay.

| Security Option | Description |

| All Branches | Allows access to Pulse data for all branches. |
| Only My Branch | Allows access to Pulse for the User's branch only. |
| Read-Only | A User with this security role can use the Search For Transaction feature and access the Reporting section in Pulse. |
| Basic | A User with this security role gets the same access as Read-Only, plus can also reverse payment transactions that are currently "Open" and not in a batch, reverse a transaction that has already settled in a batch, access the Terminal Management screen, and access the Virtual Terminal. |
| Elevated | A User with this security role gets the same access as Basic, plus they can view the current Merchant Capital Advance offer. |
| Full | A User with this security role gets full access to all Pulse features and areas listed above. |
